And let’s not forget the presents, of course! I just adore the excitement and anticipation in Super-D’s face! She’s my daughters BFF and so stinkin’ cute!

We were celebrating her 4th birthday and I had just bought my first nifty-fifty 1.8 lens. LOVED that lens! Threw on a 6-point star cross filter and voila, fun capture! The girls will turn 7 this fall and I think we have spent every birthday together! I hope they do for their whole lives!! Is it silly that I envision them as little old ladies having a birthday tea party?!

  8. Beautiful image Connie! I like how our image ideas for the challenge were similar with the birthday cakes, but they both told different stories. Pictures are worth a thousand words 🙂
