Hope you’re enjoying this long last weekend of summer! The Daily Post weekly photo challenge theme for the week is SEA.

I shot this on Friday as we were on our way out of the beach. Kids and sand toys, towels and umbrellas, boogie board and beach chairs; everything packed up and as all parents with little kids do – my hubby and I definitely looked like overpacked mules carrying all the goodies out. But I spotted this little creation and I just had to get the shot! Dropped all I was carrying (except my camera of course!) and got as low as I could go to get it.

What does this image make you think of? The beach? Relaxing? Sand between your toes? Crashing waves? It reminds me that life is all about balance! Take the time to enjoy it!

  9. Right now I do most of my photography with my iPad, which I carry with me virtually all the time in a perfect Fossil shoulder bag I found at a second-hand store. I’m always stopping for pictures, unless driving, of course!
