It’s the most wonderful time of the year… and when I read the prompt for the Daily Post “Weekly Photo Challenge: Light” I thought – perfect, I’ll do Christmas lights! I’ll get some bokeh! Maybe even some candlelight! Then I realized um, that would entail actually having our tree up and house decorated. And that’s a no go, so even though I waited til the very last moment to submit my photo {in hopes of getting said decorations up!}, I realized I’ve been busy at the beach with amazing photo sessions featuring our lovely natural light…

So here are a few of my favorite recent shots featuring the magnificent sun light and beautiful colors it provides.

  3. Wonderful gallery and great for the challenge – but up here in the north where some of us only have 3 hours of daylight – Mother Nature need some help.*smile If it hadn’t been for the lights in in every windows we would be so depressed. *laughing.
