Well there’s no better time to share some of my favorite photos of this holiday season than now! The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: One asks us to show photos that highlight “one thing”. To me, that means my love of shallow depth of field and wide open aperture will definitely work for this challenge!

  14. I love your pictures. Especially the candy cane pic. My taste in music mirrors yours quite a bit. I also love the song “Christmas Carousel” by Peggy Lee and “Hard Candy Christmas” by Dolly Parton.

    • Thank you, Juliann! The candy cane treats (and oreos) were from a friend’s party – I wanted to get photos of the yummies before they were gone. Good thing I did as I then ended up having such great wine, yummy snacks and engaging conversations, I didn’t get any people shots! Thanks for sharing your songs – had never heard Dolly’s song – love ’em! Merry Christmas!!
