While studying photography, one of the more technical classes I took was learning Photoshop. Although it was technical, it was quite creative as we were challenged to create composites — taking multiple photos and creating one seamless image.
Thinking of the Daily Post weekly photo challenge: threshold reminded me of the imaginary and creative worlds that kids are so easily able to enter into everyday of their young lives. My girls love princesses and dress up and all things Disney (um, heard of a little flick called Frozen? Yes, they sing Let it Go or Do You Want to Build a Snowman or In Summer every.single.day!!) Similar to Frozen’s Elsa, my 7-yr old is convinced she has “cold powers” – see what I mean?!
I love this stage of their lives. I don’t remember ever “losing” that spirit and imaginative stage, but clearly at one point most of us do. I hope my girls always use those fantastic imaginations of theirs and dream BIG!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day!
Live creatively!
