My version, March 2013
My 7 year old daughter’s version, February 2014
Couldn’t resist posting these both for the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Monument. I think I went a little nuts buying Eiffel Towers for my girls when I was out there last year!

Nice take on the Monument theme! Certainly the Eiffel Tower is one of the world’s greatest monuments, along with it’s sister monument, the Statue of Liberty, both constructed by the same artist.
You’re welcome to come and see what my take on the theme is:

I don’t know why people call it “The Awful Tower” when you see photos like yours, Connie. Lovely shot.

Connie, stunning … photo and great entry. I was thinking of using Eiffel tower too, because I have one taken from underneath, one of my favorite images, but I decided to chose a city as my entry.
Like the souvenir tower imate. We have a wooden horse as our national souvenir and we sell more of our horses than Paris sell of their tower. Look at … we Swedes are taking over *laughter.

Lol Viveka! Yes, I assumed about half the entries this round would be the ever-so-popular (but-not-as-popular-as-Sweden’s-horse!) Eiffel Tower π Thanks for the laugh this morning!

Here is my post about our famous wooden horse – http://wp.me/p293Pw-1HM – you know we are such a small country, so every chance we have … we brag about it.
