I’ve been blessed to know her mom for years as we volunteered together and served on the board at our church. So when she approached me about their needs, I was thrilled at the opportunity to work with them!

Expect to see lots of good stuff from this adorable young lady!

  1. What a beautiful young lady. And what gorgeous shots! I am so in awe of anyone who shoots portraiture. I am not confident enough in my skills to tackle this yet. With inanimate objects, I can shoot away – thinking about settings and fiddling with them, without feeling the pressure of keeping someone waiting. And , in the end, if the photos don’t turn out, I’m the only one who’s disappointed. Well done!

    • Thanks so much Stacy! Doing a little research for inspiration along with technicalities helps settle the nerves before venturing out for portraits! And I know how you feel about inanimate objects – taking our time to get it just right always feels great! Some of my inanimate objects (like food) even get rushed since my girls don’t like to wait for me to get the shot… hungry girls! As always, thanks for your thoughtful comment ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Still learning this whole photography thing, in spite of years scrapping and thousands of snapshots. Is getting in closer the secret to better head shots??
