Welcome to another Make It Monday!

Are you in full-swing, happy-as-a-camper holiday-mode? I sure am! Christmas tree is up and decorated. Christmas music is on All. The. Time. ❤ Stockings are hung, and an elf has arrived for his annual visit to our home with sheer delight from my girls! Love, love, love this time of year and just can’t get enough!

Last year, a friend from church (who just so happens to have been a friend in college!) invited me to sell my crafts at her annual Holiday Boutique at her home. She opens up her home to about a dozen local small businesses and crafters to sell their goods as a fun and friendly holiday social event and fundraiser for local charities. I wasn’t able to participate last year, but I jumped in this year! I created lots of holiday banners and gift tags, and have even listed them on my Etsy shop! If there’s anything that strikes your fancy, please consider purchasing it by Wednesday, December 10th as 20% of proceeds will be donated to Rady’s Children’s Hospital, in continued support of Lianna’s Holiday Boutique 🙂

CRAFTING TIP: Using multiple patterned papers to create a cohesive look is challenging yet important for a product to look polished and professional. When picking your papers, the easiest route is to choose papers from the same collection. If you’re mixing and matching collections, stay within the same color family, or at least the same tonal values. Many manufacturers will have new yearly collections, but will work with previous year’s color tones, so be sure to shop your own stash, too!
