Welcome to the May 10 on 10 photo circle! We have a wonderful and full group of fabulous photographers sharing 10 images from last month. If you’re already following the circle, you came from the beautiful photographer Megan Wright. If you haven’t seen her stunning work, be sure to follow the circle all the way around to see all of the gorgeous images!
My sweet friend Kim and I met at the Carlsbad Flower Fields one bright morning for a little creative photo play. It was my first time heading out there, although I’ve seen the beautiful fields over the last 20 years from a distance, driving by on the freeway. It was a wonderful outing and I definitely encourage you to head over there if you ever get the chance!
I couldn’t help but want to play with my Tamron 90mm macro lens. I brought other lenses, but my macro got all the love that day and stayed on the entire morning!
Kim and I were inspired by our lovely friend Luca – she shared images from her family outing to the flower fields last month. As soon as we saw a sneak peek of her photos, we immediately made plans to head out! Talk about being inspired ❤
Now I hope you’ll be inspired to continue the 10 on 10 circle and head on over to the lovely Suzanne O’Brien. Her posts are always delightful and her images are always stunning – full of light, color and life! Be sure to leave all the photographers some comment love ❤
If you’ve missed any of our previous 10 on 10 posts, you can check them out here and follow the hop from each individual blog post 🙂

I want to go to there. Oh my goodness, your photos are beautiful and those flowers are gorgeous. I’ve always wanted to go to a flower field. I need to check and see if anything similar is around here.

Aw, thank you so much for your kind words Connie. What a beautiful spot you found, and it is always more fun to explore with a friend. LOVE your images – you are tempting me to get a macro lens! The layers and rows of color in the pullback shot of the field just might be my favorite though 🙂 Hope you had a great Mother’s Day!
