I’m sharing an adorable invitation using two gorgeous dies: Top Dog Dies Flamingo Die Set and the Top Dog Dies Pennant Banner – I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love these dies!

Ever since the spring, when my sister and her friends took a girls trip to Palm Springs, I’ve been smitten with pink flamingos! So when I saw that Top Dog Dies had a flamingo, I knew I was in for some fun!

This invitation was surprisingly easy to put together, primarily because of the great quality of the dies. They cut like butta! Here’s what I did to make the invite:

1. Took two different pink papers to cut the flamingo from, and I used an aged aqua/teal paper to cut the bit of water for the flamingo to stand in, as well as the banner.

2. Created the invitation in Photoshop, but I could’ve just as easily used Word to create it as it’s mostly verbiage. While creating the digital portion, I made sure to leave room to add the die cuts of the flamingo and banner.

3. I had some left over alphas from an old kit and loved how easy it was to add them to the banner. I trimmed the banner pieces just a tad to fit the limited space, but that just took a little snip on each side. Easy peasy.

4. All of the pieces were glued down on the invitation, and a little bling was added to the flamingo’s eye for the final touch.

I said it was easy! What do you think? I love it and hope you do too!
