Welcome to another Make It Monday! A few weeks ago I shared a fun Make It Monday posts where I made some Lunch Box Love Notes. I loved making them and the feedback was great from you! So I decided to make a second batch – with different Top Dog Dies, just as adorable as the Cupcakes I made in the first batch!
My girls are entering third and first grades. As glorious as I might think it is to be a kid, I know there will be days that might be a little tough in their classrooms or on the playground, so hopefully these little notes will put smiles on their sweet faces!
I used several die sets from Top Dog Dies: the Flamingo Die Set, the Hot Air Balloon Die Set, the Unicorn Die set, and the Flip Flops Die Set. They are all so cute! The details, particularly the stitched details, make these some of my favorites!
I die cut all the pieces from different papers, and I cut the backgrounds from Avery Elle 6×6 Happy paper pad. After glueing each set onto it’s background card, I hand lettered a few words of encouragement. Then I laminated the cards and plan to hand write a little note on the back with a Sharpie pen. From what I’ve read online,ย I’ll be able to remove sharpieย using hand sanitizer, nail polish remover or a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! I’ll come back with an update once I’ve tried it!

These are so amazing! I not only love the concept of lunch box notes, but I also love all the color and fun and energy that you infused into these (all of which is needed by the time school lunch hits)! Your notes made me long for my Smurfs lunchbox again and I still clearly remember the notes that my parents would leave for me growing up. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and happy creation with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

Oh Andrea, thank YOU so much for your sweet note! I’m glad my post brought happy memories to you and I love that you had a Smurfs lunchbox! That was such an awesome time in life! I remember Saturday mornings in front of the tube with Smurfette and Papa and the whole gang! Great memories!

I don’t have any kids, but you just gave the me idea to do this for my hard working mother. I could stick it in her purse and when she’s having a rough day at work, She’ll have something to get her through. Thanks for sharing!
