Welcome to another Make It Monday… on a Wednesday 🙂 Life’s been a little nutty*, but then again, who isn’t in the same boat?! But I couldn’t let the week pass without sharing this little cutie pie banner, er um, creepy, freaky banner!
I wanted to use the Top Dog Dies Wicked Witch Die Set again. It’s so fabulous, I just couldn’t help myself! You might remember the Witch card I made a few weeks ago? Check it out here if you missed it.
I really wanted to make a banner that said “Drink Up Witches” and have the witch feet upside down, lol! But as a mommy to two young girls, that just wouldn’t work in our house. Too many questions! And I think I’ve been reminiscing about my college and young adult life years too much. Ah, the good old days… But I digress. Just thought I’d share that banner idea for anyone interested in making a sassy banner of their own!
As always, thanks for stopping by my little colorful spot on the web! Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day! And make sure you’re on the Clicky Chick Creates email list so you don’t miss a thing! Sign up here!
Live (and plan) creatively!

What do you make the banner out of? Paper and then sew the edges? I need holiday banners but I need them to last for years to come and I can’t decide what to make them out of! Any suggestions? http://www.threewhims.com

Paper – a nice thick cardstock. And I use a die from Lawn Fawn that cuts the banner shape and adds the stitched detail on the edging. I fold my banners accordion style and put them in a ziplock for storage. As long as you store your banners in a cool, dry place, they’ll be fine!

This is adorable. Looks very reusable if you store it right. I love anything that can be reused year after year!

Thanks! Yes, I’m all about being able to get multiple uses! I store all my banners folded up accordion style, placed in a ziploc bag and stored in a cool, dry spot 🙂 I have many that I’ve use every year for Christmas, Easter and Halloween! Thanks for stopping by!
