It’s that wonderful time of the year, when days start cooling down, sweaters and boots come out, pumpkin spice flavored treats are everywhere and we all start thinking about the holidays! And what special tradition comes with the holidays? Holiday cards!

I absolutely love that so many people do holiday photo cards! I love getting them in the mail, especially to see friends near and far, their growing families, kids getting bigger, and of course it’s always a treat to see my friends in the photos too! That’s one of the main reasons I love family photography – capturing a little slice of time for families, helping them share their family memories with loved ones!

The Higham family was so sweet to work with! And the saying that “it’s a small world” rang very true when I met the Higham’s for our photo session. Turns out, our kids go to the same school! Of all the photographers that they could’ve worked with in San Diego, we laughed about the odds!

You could definitely feel the love this family has and I loved capturing this special time for this beautiful family. I hope they enjoyed the experience!
