Life continues to take me on an amazing journey. I’m a mommy, wife, photographer, scrapbooker, crafter, volunteer-extraordinaire and child of God who never outgrew seeing the world as colorful as a fresh box of Crayola crayons! I’mΒ blessed to live with myΒ “4-family” in beautiful San Diego, CaliforniaΒ withΒ myΒ loving husband Steve with whom IΒ fell madly in love with at just 19 years old (many, many moons ago!), and myΒ teen daughters that you will see are the stars of most of my photographs andΒ scrapbook pages. IΒ love to dream, travel, play with myΒ daughters, sing while myΒ hubby plays guitar and rarely miss an opportunity to be behind the lens when I’mΒ with family and friends. No matter what title I might bear, or what hat I wear, I am a creative soul to my core. I love writing my memories, my stories to share, pairing them with photos and getting inky, dirty-fingers creating layouts, cards and anything crafty. I am creative. Behind the lens. At my desk. In the kitchen. With my daughters. It all makes me a happy, blessed, grateful wife and mama β€
I started Clicky Chick Creates in 2013 as a way to share myΒ colorful view of the world in photography and crafts. In 2014 I began sprinkling inΒ lots of creative tips and tutorials.Β I hope you enjoy my creations and join my mailing list so you don’t miss a single colorful adventure!

Hello your blog looks really great! I am brand new to blogging and I too run an Etsy shop. I can figure out how you did it in your drop down menus it says Etsy, you click on it and it takes you to your shop. How did you do that? It would help a lot if you could share. Thanks so much and going to browse your shop!

Hi! Welcome to the world of blogging! To add Etsy in your drop down menu, go to Appearance –> Menus –> Add Custom Link. In there put the title of the link name (like Etsy) and then add your link in the URL section. Hope that helps! Thanks for stopping by and hope you liked my goodies in my Etsy shop π

Your archive fascinates me, Chris!
here is the answer:
Hi Connie: well, I am happy to have quite a big archive from the past. But this one (and more and more) are shot recently with iPhone. Just always having it at hand is convenient!

Great blog, I’ve got loads of Scrapbooking kits that I’ve never touched and now you’ve inspired me to do something with them, interesting times ahead π

Fabulous to hear it, Claire! Kits are a great way so you can focus less on “will these products match” since it’s already done and focus more on getting your photos down and stories told! Would love to see when you’re ready to share!!
