My love of photography started a very long time ago. I had my first camera before I was a teenager. Remember the Kodak Disc Camera from the  early ’80’s? Yeah, that was my first camera! I’ve had various 35 mm, point and shoot cameras over the years, but my heart really began to swoon when I got my hands on my first baby, my first DSLR, the Canon Rebel XTi. That was late 2006. Since then, I’ve snapped over 70,000 images (thank heavens for digital!), learned as much as I could, taken tons of photography courses, and I even completed my Certification in Photography at UCSD Extension. Over that time I’ve increased my arsenal with lots of glass and even a new camera body, a Canon 60D that I love! I think I will always be a Canon girl!

I LOVE being behind the lens. Not because I’m shy. Not because I don’t want to be in front of the lens. But because I LOVE capturing moments, memories and the subtle expressions that we all tend to forget about our loved ones as time goes by. A look. A smile. A gesture. It still amazes me that a photograph can take us back in our minds to a different place, a different time, a different emotion. Let me help you capture those memories!

  1. I checked out your Flickr gallery and like what I see. You certainly have a flair for portraits! I like your processing on the images. You’re not over cooking anything. Your composition is great and exposure right on. You’ve got a bright future ahead of you. – Bob
