My baby girl LOVES going to the park and swinging, swinging, swinging! She always has and I love how cute she looks in the big kid swing!

Last summer I had fun creating the text clouds in the photo and posted about it here after learning how to from my amazing and talented friend Melissa over at Digital Scrapbooking HQ. She’s brilliant! (and witty, and a digi-guru, and just overall adorable!)

This is yet another LOAD (layout-a-day) page I created this past February. The prompt was to use a photograph we had already scrapbooked, but to use it to tell a different story. Perfect opportunity for me to use the photo with the text clouds…

  3. This is an absolute work of art! I really love how it does tell a story and the way you incorporated the journaling onto the clouds was brilliant! I also love the bits of dimension you added with the wooden elements. The colors are so vibrant and the whole vibe reminded me of my own youthful summer adventures! Beautiful job and I’m so glad that you shared this layout with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
