You know those friendships that are super amazing at one point in life, and then for some unexpected reason, without drama or falling out, the current of life just takes you in different directions? Well, meet my friend Heather, one of my brilliant friends from college whom I share one of those friendships with!

During the ’90’s while at SDSU, we were roommates with big dreams and ambitions, ready to conquer the world! We were opposites in many ways – she was blonde haired, blue eyed, fair and tall; I was brown haired, brown eyed, dark and short average height. She was from Northern California; I was from Southern California. She was sweet and innocent; I was wild and reckless. We were Oscar and Felix and I was definitely the messy one! We had such great times and heck what early twenty year old cuties living on a fantastic Greek cul-de-sac with awesome TGI Friday afternoon parties wouldn’t?! I have to admit that I can’t hear James Taylor without thinking of her as playing his greatest hits cd was our nightly bedtime ritual! And although I’m not a Facebook fanatic as I was five years ago, I am thankful to Mark Zuckerberg and his nerdy brilliance for reconnecting me with such a beautiful and amazing friend I’d lost track of over the years.

So let’s fast forward from the ’90’s to about five years ago. Heather and I reconnected on Facebook, and have kept in touch, watching our families grow and our businesses launch. She has the most adorable and beautiful daughters, and being the phenomenally creative person she is, she would make the cutest and sweetest clothes for her girls. Sure and soon enough, friends were inquiring about her ensembles and requesting custom pieces for their kiddos, too. And that’s when her Etsy store Curious Georgia was born!

Knowing my love of photography, and my daughter’s love of dresses, Heather sent us these adorable dresses so we could have a fun little photo shoot. Talk about LOVE! And these aren’t the first Curious Georgia goodies my girls have worn and loved. Heather’s quality and attention to detail are impeccable. My girls adore their twirly skirts (what little girl wouldn’t?!) and their new dresses are now favorites as well!
