My hubby was born and raised in San Diego – he defines water baby and is in the water regularly from May to October. Even though I’m a born and raised SoCal girl, swimming (especially in the ocean), well, it just ain’t my thang! Thanks heavens my hubby loves the ocean and our girls totally take after him! I truly think they would trade their legs for fins mermaid tails in a heartbeat!
This collection of photos were taken during a family beach day at the end of last summer, when our big girl learned to boogie board! Can’t you see the glee in her face?! And our baby loves being in the water just as much as she loves playing in the sand!
Photo Tip: Take more control of your images by shooting in manual mode and just as important – MOVING your FOCAL POINT! Guide your viewers eye to exactly where you want them to look. don’t make them have to hunt! {Click to Tweet!}
With the business of everyday life, I’m sometimes not the most appreciative, but I know without a doubt I’m blessed beyond belief with all three of my water babies ❤
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day! Make sure not to miss any future posts by signing up for the Clicky Chick Creates email list here! You’ll get a great little freebie download as my thank you 🙂

Love the photos, Connie. I think it is great the your husband and girls love the ocean. While it is beautiful, it scares me. If course, I am from Kansas and have only been to the ocean 3 times.

I totally get it Linda! I’ve been a bazillion times (that’s a technical term of course!) and am always in awe of the ocean’s power! I’m so glad he’s teaching the girls how to be safe, brave and have fun in it!
