I’ve been loving silhouette shots lately, and couldn’t resist this shot of my daughters. We were enjoying sunset on the beach during a mini vacation and I loved their playfulness and spirit showing through their silhouettes! And the unexpected bonus? That amazing, beautiful twinkling star in the upper left corner. LOVE!

Silhouettes can be challenging because you have to have control over the subject and in this case two very active girls(given their ages). What an amazing click!

What a great photo. It reminds me of some silhouettes I took of daughters when they were about 11 and 12. Now I’m hoping for a SILHOUETTE photo challenge. 🙂

I like this image too, lovely silhouettes. Your daughters seem at a good age when you can photograph them and be creative. My son is still a little young and would rather look at the photos in the camera than stand in front of it 🙂

Thanks Laura! Yes, they’re at fun ages where they can take direction, yet add their own spunk and flair!! But my 7yr old loves being behind the lens too, especially using my Canon 60D!!
