My daughters, like any sisters, have their ups and downs. But even when one is bugging the other, or one is taking the other’s toys, or they’ve had a little too much of each other for the day, they’re still best friends and sisters, through thick and thin!
Originally, after reading the Daily Post weekly photo challenge: Letters photo prompt, I was about to dig in my archives for a photo (or a few) that fit, but then I spied my girls were wearing their matching bracelets. How could I pass up the opportunity to photograph those cute little girl hands playing in the backyard?!
Capturing everyday moments like this makes my heart happy. I can really feel it when I review my photos – whether I’m searching for a specific photo for a photo challenge, or a photo to scrapbook, or editing photos for a gift – anytime I make a quick scan of my Lightroom library or the walls of my home, my heart is happy! Do you take the time to photograph your everyday moments? Maybe turning those everyday moments into art? Being part of the community at Capture Your 365 has been instrumental as a reminder to photograph those everyday moments which can easily be overlooked or sometimes forgotten. Those truly are the moments that make life incredibly beautiful.
If you’re a photography and podcast junkie like I am, take a listen to Katrina and Kelly on the Capture Your 365 podcast. Always a great listen, and I have to admit, my jaw is still on the floor and I can’t take the silly grin off my face as Katrina mentioned me (yes, ME!) on the “Do You Think About Composition” CY365 episode 10!! Let me know what you think?!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day!
Live creatively!
