Uplifting and Peaceful – two of my favorite April photo prompts from Capture Your 365! Life might not always be peaceful, joyful, stress free or picture-perfect, but there are certain places that immediately get me to take a deep breath and get centered. My church is one of those places, and Balboa Park is the other.

I love the flower. I need to get outside and try to take that type of photo. I shoot with a Canon 40D. My lighting is never right. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. What inspires me is? These days Pinterest, but I want to draw my inspiration from outside.

I’m a huge fan of Katrina Kennedy’s (free!) daily prompts – even if I don’t photograph daily, it’s nice to conceptualize what I would do for the prompt 🙂 Keeps those creative juices flowing even if I don’t pick up my camera!
