Yup, I said it… Imagine long, beautiful, rainbows of streamers flowing in the air, colorful confetti dancing through the sky and tons of beautiful cupcakes! Isn’t that what you envision happening when you see big round numbers… like when you’re the 100th person to like a post, or you’re the 20,000th person to sign up for an email list, or you’re the one millionth customer?! That’s totally what happens in my brain – full on celebration!
So when I realized I was about to post my 200th blog post, of course I envisioned the confetti, streamers and cupcakes coming out!
I started blogging January 2013. In 16 months, I’ve shared 200 posts… mostly photographs — some inspired by challenges, some inspired by Capture Your 365, some from life and things around the house or yard, and some from the clients and friends I’ve been blessed to photograph! I’ve also posted lots of crafty creations like scrapbook layouts, cards and tags – some inspired by layoutaday.com, some inspired by card challenges, some inspired by swaps, and others just because I wanted to make something pretty!
As of May 14th, 48,370 visits from 122 countries, with 2,236 comments – I LOVE getting comments and chatting up with readers, and certainly about stuff other than these crazy stats! I’ve made some fab friendships through blogging; have seen fabulous photographs, learned about cultures, crafts, challenges, cooking and traveled to some amazingly remote locations through other bloggers words and images. It’s been awesome meeting others throughout my 200 posts!
Through that time, I’ve grown, evolved and even made some minor modifications to my blog.
<—– Did you notice the new social media icons?
I’ll be making a pretty big change pretty soon as I’ll be moving my blog from wordpress.com to a self-hosted blog. As excited as I am to do it, as it’ll make it possible for me to use plug-ins and other functions that I don’t have access to now, I’m nervous to lose my connections here! So, I’ve started an opt-in email list, and I’d love for you to sign-up here!
For signing up, you’ll receive my “7 Must Have Photos of Every Kids Birthday!” downloadable PDF! So please sign-up, I’d really appreciate it! I’ll continue to blog mostly about photography and crafting, so thank you for joining my creative and colorful adventures!
Cheers to 200 posts and I look forward to growing and evolving with you along for the ride! ❤
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day!
Live creatively!
