Wouldn’t it be nice if Creativity would come rushing to us anytime we needed it or summoned it? Kinda like on-demand? Lol!
Well, sometimes, it just doesn’t come that easily. Luckily, there are great sites and sources to turn to online when we need that little nudge…
I was so happy and honored when my friend Lisa at My Kreative Pursuits asked me to create a Monday Mojo project based on her monthly inspiration pieces. Lisa offers 5 inspiration prompts at the beginning of the month: color scheme, sketch, embellishment, technique, and topic. You’re able to interpret the prompts as you see fit and if you link up a project created from the inspiration, you’re eligible for a prize!
When Lisa sent the inspiration files, I fell in love with the color scheme. And even though the photo reminded me of a cool end-of-summer/early-fall feel, as I started to pull papers, I was inspired to create this Christmas banner 🙂 This girl can certainly change her mind, and I can’t help but look forward to the holidays! I can honestly say though, I’m pretty sure this is the earliest I’ve ever created a Christmas craft ❤
I love the way this turned out and can’t wait to make some more Christmas goodies! If you’re interested in purchasing this banner, visit my brand new Etsy store! Woot woot!!
What do you do when creativity is out to lunch? Do you scour the web for inspiration? Be sure to check out Lisa’s site My Kreative Pursuits – particularly her Monday Mojo series. I know you’ll feel inspired to create some yummy goodness when you see the inspiration pieces. The added bonus? The weekly featured designers and the lovely creations they’ve concocted with the inspiration pieces!
Be sure to stop by My Kreative Pursuits and leave Lisa some love and thanks for the inspiration posts she whips up every month!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day! Make sure not to miss any future posts by signing up for the Clicky Chick Creates email list here! You’ll get a great little freebie download as my thank you 🙂
Live creatively!

When I get stuck creatively with my writing, I will do things like use image searches for inspiration or take photos with my camera. It’s amazing how changing one’s creative output can help with what we’re feeling stuck on.

Nice work. I still need to find my desk–that stifles my creativity. The internet is a wonderful tool for inspiration, thanks for sharing your lovely projects.

Thanks for your lovely comment, Patti – always appreciated! Yes, I also can’t find my desk at times 😉 If I could have any super power, it would be to have everything put away in the right spot in seconds with the simple snap of my fingers!
