Ready to peek inside my home? These are some of my favorite Christmas decorations!
Do you buy Christmas ornaments or decorations while traveling? That’s something I’ve loved doing for more years than I remember! The red mosaic ball? From Salt Lake City, Utah. The silver tear drop? From Hearst Castle in Cambria, CA. The crosses? From Solvang, CA the weekend my sister was married! One of my favorite parts of Christmas is decorating our tree and reminiscing where every ornament and decoration came from. Okay, not every single one, but definitely lots have significant meaning ❤
Believe is one of my absolute favorite words and is evident throughout my home, particularly during the holidays. So I couldn’t resist getting some fun bokeh shots with our Believe ornament!
Did you land at Clicky Chick Creates coming from Laura Bastien at The Sweet Life? Her gorgeous photos make me want to cozy up with a cup of cocoa and a nice fire! Be sure to head on over to my adorable friend and uber talented photographer Kim Bajorek! She headed out for a high noon photo shoot at the beach, capturing her beautiful friend in front of a turbulent yet beautiful ocean! She even caught some daredevils out in the rough waters as well 🙂
Thanks for following our 10 on 10 adventure this year! I’ve had a blast spending time behind the lens to capture 10 (or more) photos monthly of people and events that are near and dear to my heart, and whatever may have tickled me pink for the month ❤ If you missed any of the 10 on 10 posts, you can check them out here and follow the hop from each individual blog post 🙂
If you’re still looking for some holiday goodies for your home or for gifts, please visit my Etsy and Society6 shops! The perfect gift for you or your loved one could be eagerly waiting for you to discover it within my shops or with other artists in the communities!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day! Happy holidays!
Live creatively!

Very creative use of your photos to show us your decorations! I read your post a few days ago about the bokeh method of shooting and hope to try it this week so I have it figured out before my grandchildren arrive this weekend. I see some Christmas portraits in their future! We are a military family so our tree is also full of memories of all the places we’ve lived (24 moves in 35 years!) and the wonderful friends we’ve made along the way. That must be why it takes me so long to decorate it every year…so many memories in those ornaments and each one causes me to stop and reminisce! Merry Christmas to you!
