One of the gorgeous luxuries of living in San Diego is our beautiful beaches up and down the coastline. Add the bay. Plus the stunning island of Coronado. And yes, I’d say this has gotta be pretty close to what heaven looks like 🙂
I’m always filled with joy when a family reaches out about a photo session, especially at the beach! So I was ecstatic when the W family reached out about a session on Coronado. I don’t head over the bridge very often onto the island, but when I do, it transports me to a different time. Besides the fact that my husband and I once owned a retail boutique inside the Hotel Del Coronado, there is something wonderfully nostalgic about the island itself. There’s a sense of calm and peace, almost like going back 50 years to Mayberry street ❤
The W and D families were an absolute pleasure to work with on our sunny morning at the beach! Capturing 3 generations of family, from grandparents to parents to kids, there was so much love and joy amongst them that it really was quite lovely! I get so used to photographing during the golden hours of sunset, I forget how delicious the morning light can be! It was sunny, warm and bright, but it matched the extended family perfectly ❤

Aww, thanks so much for your kind words Dietra – they’re always appreciated! Yes, I am indeed working on new classes 🙂 I’m putting together an online “Technique-apalooza” class! I’ll be sharing loads of techniques to use on cards, scrapbook pages, tags, mini books, home decor, gifts and more! About 20 techniques will be covered, really digging into how to use those hot items we have in our stash or have been wanting to jump into! I’m so excited to roll this out soon! Hope you’ll join me in class! xoxo
