When you love photography, and the beach, and bellies, and family! I’m so lucky that my brother and sister-in-law moved to San Diego earlier this year! AND they’re expecting their first baby! So of course we had to schedule a maternity photo session, and the beach provided the perfect backdrop!

My SIL and I headed out La Jolla one gorgeous morning and in less than 45-minutes captured so much loveliness! Pregnancy is such a short amount of time in a mama’s life, that I truly love working with mommies-to-be to commemorate this special time. It’s one of those small regrets I have – that I didn’t get professional photos while I was pregnant with either of my daughters. I think it’s one of those things you think you’ll get to, and then poof! the opportunity is gone! The best time for maternity photos is 30- to 36-weeks, but there really is never a bad time! Make sure you get those photos when you can!
