I know, I know, Halloween candy is still in the house, decorations are still up, costumes are strewn around, everyone’s on a sugar overload, and here I am blogging about Thanksgiving! I just had to share these cute “Beautiful Abundance” tags I came up with for Thanksgiving…
Last year I made these “Thankful” tags and added them to goodie bags of treats I shared with friends from church. I also added them to the pumpkin pies I baked for our local firehouse. That tradition started years ago and I was even published in Real Simple Magazine sharing our pie tradition!
For the tags I just made, I thought it would be nice to add a space to add a note about what we’re thankful for this year. These will make great placecards for our Thanksgiving table! Also, I love adding hidden journaling to my scrapbook pages, and sometimes will write on the back of a tag, like I did here. These would fit the bill nicely for hidden journaling for a fall or Thanksgiving layout!
What types of Thanksgiving crafts are you working on or looking forward to creating? I’d love to see, so share your link(s) in the comments! My dear, crafty, and fabulous friend Danni at {Made in} Apt 14 shared a darling Thanksgiving table setting she created and is teaching at our local scrapbook store (Cool Scrapbook Stuff). Be sure to check out Danni’s post here!
And if your creative tank still isn’t full, be sure to check out Whimsy Wednesday over at The NY Melrose Family blog – talk about gifted crafters! Amazing recipes, DIYs, how-to’s, ideas and kids activities are linked up!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day!
Live creatively!
