About 10 years ago, my hubby and I celebrated new year’s with about twenty of our closest college friends up in Big Bear, California. Every year for new year’s this same group of friends would celebrate the holiday together, exploring different cities in our wonderful state. San Francisco, Napa, Palm Springs, San Diego, Orange County – all were amazing!
But back to Big Bear… while out enjoying the snowy town and hot toddys, we snuck in a little shopping when I bought this adorable ornament. All of the trips aforementioned were pre-kids, but I knew we’d eventually have a family and I fell in love with the idea of our future babies tucking their letters to Santa into this old fashioned mailing tube!
Fast forward to now, and it has become a definite must for my girls! It’s one of my most favorite traditions! I love that my girls love it as much as I do!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a joyful, creative, blessing filled day!
Live creatively!
