I love posting photos, particularly sneak peeks for my client sessions! I started my blog just over a year ago, {January 9, 2013 was my first post!} so most of my 2013 families have been featured on the blog – yay! But seeing the prompt at the Daily Post weekly photo challenge: Family, made me realize how much I wish I had started blogging earlier : ) So, I’m playing along with the challenge, posting a “best of 2012” featuring some of my favorite photos from the amazing families I was able to photograph in 2012. I’ve been blessed to work with beautiful families and love the friendships that I have (new and old) that are formed before, during and after our sessions!

What I love most about photographing kids, is they’re genuine joy in life. Whether I’m being silly to get them to laugh or asking them questions to soften they’re expressions — they are who they are, and I’m just lucky enough to work behind the lens, capturing their authenticity!
